For the debut issue of Sodium Magazine we explore the cultural rendezvous of east and west. We take you on a journey through Bangkok’s bustling side streets and into the grandeur of its golden palace — through the bold fashion of its street style stars.
We find art in the layers of aromas found in Chinatown’s market stalls, the endlessly rich colours and textures of Bangkok’s traditional dress, and also the unfiltered creativity of London’s young designer talent and the gritty appeal of punk style amidst Portobello Road’s pastel coloured Victorian Terraced houses. The world is filled with so many beautiful contrasts — and here at Sodium Collective, we’re all about discovering them.
