A month on from our triumph at London Fashion Week, the ripples of our success continue to be felt. Only this week, Forbes ranked Johnstons of Elgin among seven of the Best British Brands at the globally renowned event and highlighted our ‘beautifully produced’ Cashmere and Merino Wool designs. As fashion followers reflect on our showstopping Autumn Winter ’19 pieces, we review the highlights of our recent press coverage.
Exclusive stills of all 30 of our catwalk looks featured in Vogue last month, with the London Evening Standard and Mayfair Times acknowledging our participation in the One Marylebone event. Creative Director Alan Scott took inspiration for the collection from the 1920s and 1930s, the golden age of travel, prompting Fashion Capital to report a ‘beautiful collection that oozed timeless quality’.
Innovative design and technology meet with tradition in our collections, with Autumn Winter ’19 being no exception. Graduate Fashion Week described how Johnstons of Elgin have ‘Modernised Heritage’ noting our blend of bold colours and designs with cashmere and touches of tartan.
